What makes Drama Llamas unique #2

Every child who signs up for lessons in our first year – will be a Legacy Llama.

If your child joins anytime up and until the end of our Summer 2025 term, going forward and forever, you will always be charged the lowest amount for their lessons. Yes, forever. Legacy Llamas will also, from time to time, get other benefits. Which will remain a secret for now.

This makes us unique not just in the performance arts sector, but it seems like every company likes to reward new customers with better deals than their original and existing ones. Unlike the your phone company, we want to reward everyone who comes on this journey with us from the start. Truly, without your belief and trust in us – well, we’d be teaching an empty room to sing and dance. Which would get lonely, so, thanks.

A quick story to end on. One of my best friends growing up was a few years older than me and was an actor. At that point, he was the only actor I’d ever met. He’d been in the first year of The Sylvia Young Theatre School. Being their first year, it was a small class. My friend became an original cast member of the West End Musicals, Adrian Mole and Bugsy Malone, and was in many other shows and on TV had parts in Grange Hill and Eastenders.

To my mind, it didn’t feel real that Mike, who I kicked a ball around with, was ‘famous’. Then I found out all his school friends were much more well known. Everyone from Sylvia Young’s first year went on to big things. They became some of the most famous actors of the 80s. Three of them household names in Eastenders alone.

The point of that story is – err, there was a point I promise… oh yes, I remember now… being in the first year has many advantages. Like in our school, your child will be a Legacy Llama and you’ll always get the lowest price for lessons. And though the class sizes may not be full, to start with – that will not be a detriment to your child’s experience, learning, or the fun they will have.

And… don’t forget they’ll also get those secret benefits – that if non-Legacy Llamas want, they have to pay for. Which I think you’ll agree is a much better way to treat customers than the way EE, Vodafone, O2, Three… do.
